Drain the maraschino cherries and set aside the cherry juice. Place the drained cherries in a small bowl and add 3 ounces of Absolut Lemon-flavored vodka. Cover bowl and refridgerate for 72 hours. When marinated, drain the vodka from the cherries and set aside as a reserve. Reserve the cherries also. To make one drink: Fill a hurricane glass one third full of crushed ice. Pour two teaspoons of reserved vodka over the crushed ice. Add 6 ounces of Zima. Fill the glass until 1 inch from the top with blue raspberry Kool-Aid. 1. Grasp bottle lid firmly with left hand, and the bottle with your right hand. (lid pointing up; towards the sky and the bottle down; towards the ground) 2. Apply clockwise turning with your right hand, hold left hand in place and apply turning pressure counter-clockwise. (bottle should be open by now) 3. Place bottle down on a flat surface (open end up). 4. Grasp about a cm (half inch) of the top of the package with left hand firmly and with your right hand touching your other hand. 5. Hold right hand in place and pull left hand away from you. 6. Slowly pour contents of package into open end of bottle. (repeat steps 4-6 if more than one package is used) 7. If contents of bottle start to bubble fast, quickly grab lid and twist on the opposite way you did before and turn tightly so it dosen't leak. 8. Shake bottle well. 9. Make up the kool-aid ahead of time, by dissolving in a small amount on water (as little as possible). Don't add sugar! Cool this mixture. -- With everything cold, mix it all together, just before the party. You can add sherbert to keep it cold, or make ice cubes, or an ice cube ring, using the kool-aid mixture. You probably won't need to add any sugar to this, as the soda, lemonade, and pineapple juice should contain plenty.Drink Mix Ingredients:
